自己スナップ：スティックス・アンド・ストーンズ
When I came to the park to take photos I had less than birdwatching or "getting in touch with nature" in mind. No, I was here because I was looking up female warriors and felt that the park was a good place to get a little wild. And when you live in the middle of a metropolis, sometimes the only place to go is the park. I`m sure Joan d'Arc wouldn`t oppose.
今回のスナップ写真のできを見ると、「わかいい」イメージがするかもしれないけれど、私が意識したのは、色々な「女戦士」。東京というメトロポリスに住んでいると、「女戦士」を表現するのに適した場所がないので、野生味あふれる公園に足を運んで写真を撮った。
Female warrior: Laura Buillon.
In the 1890s, Laura Bullion was a member of Butch Cassidy's gang the Wild Bunch; her cohorts were fellow outlaws that included the Sundance Kid. For several years in the 1890s, she was romantically involved with outlaw Ben Kilpatrick ("The Tall Texan"), a bank and train robber and an acquaintance of her father, who had been an outlaw as well. In 1901, Bullion was convicted of robbery and sentenced to five years in prison for her participation in the Great Northern train robbery. She was released in 1905 after serving three years and six months of her punishment.

Laura was a part of the wild west`s infamous "Wild Bunch" which included Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. She had a masculine face and often masqueraded as a man when holding up trains and swindling innocents out of their money. She ended up as an interior designer and seamstress after doing some time in jail and before kicking the bucket in the 1961.
I`m personally not a fan of dressing in men's clothes (I hardly wear pants), but girlfriend made up for the discretion later.
女性ワォリアー： ローラ・ブリオン
Laura Bullion は、アメリカのワイルド・ウェスト時代に雑然と結成された強盗団ワイルドバンチ（Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch）の一員だった。あの恐れるべしブッチ・キャシディとザ・サンダンス・キッドもメンバーだった（ウィキペディアによると1969年の映画『明日に向って撃て！』の題材になっているそうだ）。彼女は多くの列車強盗の時に男装をし、28歳で逮捕された。彼女の父親も同じような犯罪者だった。
ローラは、ワイルドバンチの「背の高いイタリアン」というニックネームの男性と恋仲にあった。ただ、彼は、刑務所から出所した翌年に強盗に戻り、銃で撃たれ死んでしまったとのこと・・・。
ローラは1961年に亡くなったらしいが、強盗団を辞めた後は、インテリアデザインと服の縫製をやっていたとか・・・。賢い転職。

Warrior 2: Itzpapalotl
In Aztec mythology, Itzpapalotl ("Clawed Butterfly" or "Obsidian Butterfly") was a fearsome skeletal warrior goddess, who ruled over the paradise world of Tamoanchan, the paradise of victims of infant mortality and place identified where humans were created. Some of her associations include birds and fire.

次はイツパパロトル
イツパパロトルは、アステカ神話の女神。彼女は恐れられたパラダイス天国（地獄？）の女戦士で、見た目が「骨格」的な印象。ちなみに、名前の由来は、「蝶」という意味。
イメージを言葉で表現しにくいけれど、ひと言でいうと、・・超・・ かっこいい！
Itzpapalotl. She looks pretty bad-ass, no? Can you imagine if Alexander McQueen had gotten his hand on this?
上が例のイツパパロトル。もしアレキサンダーマックイーンがこれにインスパイヤーされていたら、どれほど美しいコレクションが生み出されていたことか・・・。
A bandana I made myself. You know, going gangsta with floral.
自作のバンダナ。フローラル柄でギャングスターになるのさ！と妄想した気分。
This jacket is by Blaak. I think it's awesome even though it`s a little big for me and I need to get it taken in. The construction on this thing is amazing.
このジャケットは「ブラック」のもの。サイズはちょっと大きいから直しに出したいけれど、作りがとてもいいので、直しを入れて台無しになってしまうのが心配。
I didn`t even touch on the Japanese female Samurai I discovered in the research (literally "samurai-geisha"). That`s a whole `nother post on it`s own. Now I`m going to go get warrior-like with my strawberries, unicorns and lucky rainbows.
今日はこれでお終い。女戦士のリサーチ中に超かっこいい女武芸者を発見したけれど、それは今度紹介します。私は、女戦士というよりも、もうちょっと自分らしい生き方を追って行くわ。苺と虹ちゃんを追っている方が、性に合っているみたい。ファイト！笑
